My Anti - Drug
My anti-drug is basketball. I have always wanted to play in a team, ever since I was in elementary school. I would always want to play when we had recess. I was in a team in fourth grade and made it to the finals and I remember coming at Bell High School to play the games in the small gym. Now that I am in high school, I feel as if basketball made me into who I am now. I went towards the good crowd and the right direction because of basketball. I never really got in trouble; although, sometimes when I am too tired, I don't get to finish my homework. I know that after I graduate I won't be playing in a team anymore because I want to focus on my school work, but I could still play ball at the park with my friends. It is not going to be the same anymore once I leave, so I have to make the best of it now.

The Inconvenient Truth
The Inconvenient Truth by Al Gore was an alarming life changing documentary. Personally it made me feel scared for the future. In one specific part of the film, they showed how the sea level was going to increase by 20 feet. That part stood out to me the most because of the fact that we might be the people that are going to by affected by this tragedy; not only me, but thousands of other human beings as well. Throughout the years I have noticed a big change in the weather. Summer wouldn't end until the beginning of October and it was still hot during the winter season. I would warn my friends about this change and that "we're gonna die soon." People really need to watch this documentary because it has seriously changed the way i've seen things. Another part that really stood out to me was the charts; the statistics were "off the charts." Climate has never been this high and people should be aware of what they are doing to this beautiful planet of ours.
