Week of April 24th

This week my group, New Era Productions, finished our first film.  We added some finishing touches and turned it in on Friday.  They also filmed on Tuesday, but I couldn't attend because I had an appointment I had to attend.  They finished filming everything, but come Friday I noticed that it wash't finished.  We still needed to do more filming because some of the filming looked very off.  However, on Friday they got the camera to record on Saturday afternoon.  I hope to finish editing it by the end of this week since they finished filming for good this time.  This film is going to be a lot better than our first film.

Week of April 17th

This week we finished our first film.  We just needed to put the sound for the film. It was pretty hard to put the sound when the timing wasn't right. Yet, we managed to fast forward or slow down the clips and add the sound. It all fell into place and it looks good now.  It's not the best film, but we are done and relieved to have finished it.  We showed it to Mr. Lansdown and Nereida said he liked it.  I hope she isn't messing with us.  Now the next film is going to be better than this film regardless; as long as the guys show up to the film dates, we are set.

Week of April 10th

During the week I edited the clips we recorded the previous Friday.  I wasn't here last Friday but I did go to Nere's house to film at her house.  We got most of the parts done. I have been editing Monday Tuesday and Thursday.  On Wednesday we recorded some part of the film in class then we recorded after school for the final clip.  I think we will be done with our first film by the end of next week or the start of the following week.  It is a PSA; therefore, there is no need to be fussing about it because it is short.  We might start filing our next film by next week hopefully when Nancy comes back from Humboldt.  As long as we get the guys form our group to show up, then we are good.
