Compassionate Science
Many people are passionate about what they do, socially and physically. But are they all in it for the money? Or do they wish to make the world out there a better place. I play basketball while I am in high school and can't wait for my fourth and final year to play. I am passionate about basketball, it is something about the sport that takes me elsewhere. I am sure other athletes at Bell High School feel the same way I do. However, I do not plan on playing college ball because of the fact that I want my education to come first. Basketball would take me nowhere considering the fact that I might get injured, I may retire too early etc. I want to be a science anthropologist. That has always been my dream and I hope to accomplish it. Now I am not in it because of the money, although they do get a high payroll. I am in it because I am passionate about the study of the human body and I hope to solve many crime scenes. I believe if I had the power to change the world, I would. Whether I want to or not is not really the question, but if others are willing to put up their time and effort. If no one were to pay attention to me about what I would like to change about the world, there would be no point in doing anything.
