Modern Times Review
Modern Times is a "silent" movie that was casted to show how people use to work in the 1920's. Charlie Chaplin starred as well as produced this film. I was never into silent movies, didn't think they would be as great as movies with sound. Modern Times was a really great movie in my perspective. It was my first silent movie and the first time I saw Charlie Chaplin on screen. I might look into these type of films because I liked the movie from beginning to end. It had funny moments as well as some grief moments. At the end of the movie Charlie wanted the audience to feel the need to smile as he thought not every movie had to have a sad ending. For the most part the film kept me laughing. Charlie Chaplin really put a lot of thought into the movie, but from what I have heard of him, it must of come naturally to someone like him. I recommend this film to anyone of all ages, you can never go wrong with Charlie Chaplin.
